Two co-founders

Dr. Winand D.E. Staring, President 

Formerly UN and Dutch diplomat, currently residing in Doha, Qatar. 

As “independent diplomat”, a social entrepreneur, and world connector he leads numerous missions to Qatar, and facilitates highest-level introductions to international and local business communities, universities and governmental & non-governmental organizations.

Dr. Winand is fluent in Dutch, English, and Spanish, with strong knowledge of French & German

Francoise Mouly (LL.M.), Director Strategy 

Born in France, lived in many cities, London, Geneva, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and currently in Doha.  Has had extensive experience in legal advisory practices in corporate finance, in London. Following her post graduate studies in history of art in London, extended her career as legal adviser in art.

Francoise is fluent in French and English, with strong knowledge of Spanish and Dutch.  

Francoise co-founded IAM- Intense Art Magazine, a cross-media platform dedicated to women in contemporary art, fashion and design in Africa and its diaspora. 

She also engaged in philanthropic activities as co-founder of the 'Send a Drop Foundation' dedicated to safe water and sanitation.

Early 2020, with leading women lawyers in the region, we initiated MENA Women in Law, a not-for-profit and non-political entity - a platform for sharing innovative and supportive dialogue across the MENA region.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sadeq-Cultural Heritage & History

Former Associate Professor of History and Archaeology, Qatar University, History Program Teaching disciplinary and inter-disciplinary courses in Islamic and ancient history, archaeology, art history, history of architecture, urbanism, peoples and cultures of the Middle East, Islamic civilization, and women and gender studies.

TEACHING AND TRAINING IN CONTINUING EDUCATION:

- Specialized training courses in Islamic history and art history for the docents of the Museum of Islamic Art, Doha, in coordination with the Continuing Studies program, Qatar University.

- Workshops for the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage at the archaeological site of Al-Zubarah and at the Museum of Islamic art.

- Award from the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage.
